Hello nyungar sisters, brothers and aboriginal and other strangers welcome to nyungar land where you sit today learning. I am Bill Hayward nyungar man from kaneang goreng lands.

Hi, I'm Bill Hayward your Guild Indigenous Representative. I am in my fourth year as a Chiropractic student. I am also involved in the Kulbardi and Warrdong Aboriginal centers and the Murdoch Aboriginal and Islander Students Association. I am here for all students and through our Guild Indigenous Council I endeavor to engage with the University community, and all its associations.

I have a history of sporting commitment including playing league football in Perth and the South West of WA. I was successful as a volunteer masseur in representing Australia at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.

As your Indigenous Representative I am here for the Murdoch Indigenous Community and to maintain the integrity of the University towards its necessary and further commitments to Indigenous students. A broad education must include the true history of Australia and the Australian identity - our heritage should be based on the truth, and education is a vehicle that should assert this.

In addition to my responsibilities to the Indigenous Council I am also the student representative for the School of Chiropractic and Health Sciences. I can also assist you with any issues. Please feel free to contact me for advice and assistance.
